About Project

This project involves an indepth study into controlled sensory stimuli and the benefits for people with disabilities. Using interactive projections, people with disabilities have a medium which can aid in sensory regulation and the development of spatial awareness. Moreover, interacting with the projections promotes relaxation, encouraging the development of calming and coping strategies.

The interactive art projection can respond evocatively to human activity, providing new opportunities for users to interpret and reflect on their own experiences. The Interactive Art Projection operates in Southern Sydney Trusted Care's pre-existing sensory room which is primarily used for recreation and stress management for people with varying degrees of disability.

At present, workshops are being demonstrated in schools that have a focus on sensory needs. If you require more information, or would like to book a session, please contact me.
